Beer Consumption

Beer consumption is the strongest in the Minnesota and Wisconsin area in the United States. The top markets are in Green Bay, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. What would you do if every winter you had to go out and shovel over 100 inches of snow every year?

They deserve it!

Beer Demographics

1.70% of beer drinkers are male. Let’s face it, if you are reading this you are a guy or in need of the operation immediately.

2.52% of beer drinkers are between the ages of 28 to 49. The hard core consumers are the younger folks ages 21-27 who are bored, can’t hold a job, have no idea who they are, and account for 41% of all the golden nectar consumed. (No one under 21 was included in the findings. We can only assume it is a substantial amount of consumption.)

3.Shoppers prefer cold beer when it is available. Duh!

4.47% of beer shoppers purchase wine, while 41% add spirits because they purchased the wine for their wives. That leaves 6% that are confused about their sexuality and are home alone drinking wine.

5.32% of beer drinkers shop for it 1-3 times per week. That leaves 68% who either have kegs on tap at home or are sitting in a bar right now wondering why they are broke.

6.37% of US adults consume beer on a regular basis. 63% are still in denial.

7.84% are white, 10% Latino and only 6% African American. I think these figures may be off because I closed down a bar last weekend with two guys from Taiwan.

8.59% have an income over $59,000. I am not buying into this one. Look at all the people on the corners begging for beer money. I think they just like the number 59.

9.9 out of 10 beer shoppers are also beer consumers. Who else would be shopping for beer?

10.46% of beer is purchased at the grocery store. Isn’t being out of beer the only reason why we agree to go to the grocery store in the first place?
